What a blast!

We went and spent the weekend in San Antonio for our 5 year anniversary. It was so much fun! We went to six flags and we had a lot of fun, but my stomach is not like it use to be. We rode the rides and then went to the water park. It was nice to float the lazy river. We got our caricature done and we did the theme of peter pan and tinkerbell. We took a few pictures with the cartoon characters there.

The kids stayed at their mimi's house. They had a blast, but I sure missed them. They both love the trampoline. I think we are going to get one pretty soon.

Only 1 1/2 days left of school! YEA!!! We are going up to San Antonio again for family reunion, but this time we are bringing the boys! :)

The end is in sight!

Well, the end of the school year is just around the corner. We have 2 1/2 days left. It is bitter sweet for me. I was reassigned, so I will not be coming back to my school next year. It is sad to clean out my desk completely. So, I am happy for Summer to be here, but I am sad to leave and move on. However, the reassignment does have some positives. I will only be 2 minutes away from my house and I look good in red(their school colors). I am going back to my old junior high. I am going to be a TIGER again. I will be teaching the same class and doing the same thing, but it will be like starting all over again with a whole new set of students. It will be weird to go back to the school I went to junior high at. The actual building was new my 8th grade year. So, we were the first 8th grade class to graduate from the new building. I remember as a high school student I wanted to get out of Katy so bad. I told myself I would never come back to Katy. However, I found myself back here 5 years ago. I wasn't teaching at Katy, so I told myself it was ok. Funny, now I will be teaching at Katy. It's not a bad thing. I am kind of excited to see how things go. I will miss my co-workers at Cinco and all the good times we had, but at least we are still close enough we can hang out. I will miss the students I have taught and miss seeing them grow and progress, but I guess that is what facebook will help with...right? So, as the school year ends and the summer begins, I will be thinking of all the great times I had at Cinco. It will be weird next year when I am setting up my new desk and I won't have Anabell or Susan there to make me laugh. I guess I will just have to call them. :)

Spencer and I are celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary this weekend. We dropped the kids off at their mimi's house and we are off to San Antonio. It is weird not to have the kids with us. It is too quiet. I enjoy hearing their giggles in the back seat and their noises. It will be nice though to have some mommy and daddy time. The last 5 years have been the best years of my life. Spencer is the most amazing man I have ever met. He is so unselfish! He loves me so much and he doesn't only say it everyday...he shows me everyday! I know in my heart he would die for me if he had to! I love how he looks at me like I am the hottest person in the world! I remember our wedding like it was yesterday. I am so glad he chose me to be with him for forever! We are going to be kids again this weekend and go to Six Flags. I will post pictures later.

Tarren is growing so fast! He has the cutest sayings. He will say, " I can't want to do that" instead of saying I don't want to do that. He will say, "motor bicycle" instead of motorcycle. He knows his shapes and will point them out on stuff he sees. He knows his colors and loves to be read to. He is a great big brother. He will ask where's the baby when he can't see Samuel. He loves to make Samuel laugh. He got new shoes and refers to them as his cool shoes. He wanted to show his babysitter them so bad. So, he wore them there the next day and when I dropped him off he didn't say anything. He just propped his foot up waiting for her to see. It was cute. I am going to work on potty training him as soon as school is out. I am just tired of buying so many diapers. We will see how it goes.

Samuel is crawling good now. One minute he will be in the living room and the next he is in the kitchen. He is pulling up and pushing a walking toy around. So, I think he will be walking in the next couple of months. He loves to eat anything we are eating. He is done with baby food. He will refuse to eat it. He loves to follow us around and be held. He says mama very clearly now and then just all kinds of other sounds. He loves his big brother and loves to go in his room and mess up all of the toys. He loves to lean in and get kisses. He also is very ticklish. He will be 1 in about 3 weeks. I can't believe my baby is almost 1. This year went way too fast!

Anyway, I am off to have fun at Six Flags...MORE FLAGS...MORE FUN!!!
